Offline mode allows you to process sales even when Internet connection is NOT available. To enable this feature follow the steps below:
- Login as an admin and go to store config on the left menu
- Check the box Offline Mode. NOTE this will also enable https. Https is a requirement for offline mode. If you do NOT have a valid ssl certificate then offline mode will NOT work
- Visit the sales screen and it will sync in the background even if you navigate away. But it is recommended to let the system do an initial sync uninterrupted
What our application detects you are offline (by visiting your KPOS URL), the sales interface will display to process sales offline. The sync runs in the background once per day as long as your browser is open and logged in.
